Quad Bike Safety and Injury Prevention Symposium

The organising committee of the 12th Australasian Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Conference are delighted to announce a dedicated symposium program on Quad Bike Safety and Injury Prevention. The symposium will be held on Friday 27 November at the University of Sydney.
The event will feature international keynote speakers Steven Baddour (former Massachusetts State Senator and Assistant Attorney General, Commonwealth of Massachusetts) and Dr Peter Masiakos (Director Paediatric Trauma Services, Trauma Injury Prevention and Outcomes Program, Massachusetts General Hospital). The symposium will also include a special address by Emily Cason, whose 11-year old son Sam died whilst riding a Quad Bike at a friend’s farm.
An additional 10 oral presentations by leading Australian and New Zealand injury researchers will follow the keynote address.
