Twenty-seven new research projects, each targeting injury prevention or improving treatments post injury, were awarded funding in the recently announced National Health and Medical Research Council (NH&MRC) grants scheme.
Projects covered a range of topics including the prevention of falls amongst older Australians, ways to improve recovery from traumatic brain injury and better wye to deliver care to children following injury.
