The Australasian Injury Prevention Network (AIPN) welcomes people from a wide range of backgrounds who have an interest in injury prevention and safety promotion.
Members of the AIPN include injury prevention students, practitioners, researchers, policy makers and program organisers from health, rehabilitation, transport, occupational health and safety, ergonomics, consumer affairs, police, fire and emergency services, ambulance, planning, local government, criminology, justice and other relevant sectors.

Membership of the AIPN is open to individuals, organisations and students. Affordable membership fees are charged to assist the Network produce, manage and maintain high level publications and events for members, including the successful bi-annual national conference.

AIPN offers 5 membership types covering most individual and corporate needs:
Individual Concession Membership: $75/year
Volunteer workers
Part time staff employed 2 days per week or less
Full time students
Individual Professional Membership: $115/year
Professional or full time employees paying their own individual membership fees
Organisational Membership:
Not-for-profit organisation (up to 5 members) $300/year
Small organisation (up to 5 members) $450/year
Large organisation (6-10 members) $550/year

Changes to membership from 1 January 2019
The AIPN Executive has reviewed membership fees during 2018 and agreed that after ten years with no change at all, membership fees must increase in order to adjust for increasing costs and so the Executive can to continue to explore new services and improve existing services for members. The new fee structure will come into effect from 1 January 2019.
There have been some minor changes to membership categories as part of the review of membership. The new membership fees will be as follows:
Individual
Eligibility criteria: Full-time employed OR earning more than $35k per year – $115
Individual – Concession
Eligibility criteria: Full-time students OR earning less than $35k per year OR Indigenous person OR volunteer workers – $75
Organisation – Not-for-Profit
Eligibility criteria: community not-for-profit organisations/ ACNC registered charities
Inclusions: membership for up to 5 people – 1 to be nominated as the voting member – $300
Organisation – Small
Eligibility criteria: government agencies, academic institutions, private enterprise
Inclusions: membership for up to 5 people – 1 to be nominated as the voting member – $450
Organisation – Large
Eligibility criteria: government agencies, academic institutions, private enterprise
Inclusions: membership for 6 to 10 people – 1 to be nominated as the voting member – $550
