The AIPN is pleased to announce Professor Shanthi Ameratunga from the University of Auckland will be joining over 250 injury prevention specialists at the 14th Australasian Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Conference, 25-27 November 2019 in Brisbane, Australia.
Shanthi’s experience spans clinical medicine, population health, and inter-disciplinary research focused on injury prevention, trauma outcomes and disability – reflecting an enduring commitment to addressing disparities in health and wellbeing across the lifespan and equity-focused policies.
Abstract submissions are now open and are being accepted across a range of topic and theme areas including road safety, falls prevention, water safety, burns prevention, child safety and rural and remote safety.
