Kirsten Jamieson

Kristen Jamieson is the Research and Evaluation Manager at Kidsafe Western Australia.
Kristen coordinates strategies within the organisation to ensure the delivery of child injury prevention programs are evidence based and supported by research.
Kristen began her injury prevention career in 2019 as a Project Officer at Kidsafe WA after completing a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion at Curtin University. Over the past five years, Kristen has developed her injury prevention knowledge and skills in the not-for-profit sector, working across multiple roles within the organisation. Through her professional and personal life, Kristen is committed to reconciliation within the community and has led Kidsafe WA through the development of their inaugural Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan.
Having previously moved from a program management position at Kidsafe WA, Kristen is able to utilise her experience in community engagement to further develop the organisation’s work in childhood injury research. Kristen is passionate about ensuring childhood injury prevention programs are supported by contemporary research, evaluated effectively, and accessible to all communities across Australia.
Kristen is eager to contribute to the work of the AIPN Executive Committee to collaborate with other professionals and to help leverage best practice approaches in the injury prevention sector.
