Rachel Meade is the Injury Prevention Manager at Injury Matters. Injury Matters is a not-for-profit Western Australian organisation whos purpose is to prevent and reduce the impact of injury and support those affected.
Rachel manages community focused injury prevention programs such as the state-wide falls prevention program Stay On Your Feet® and services designed to contribute to a population level reduction in injury rates in WA.
Rachel has a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Human Movement and Public Health and a Master of Evaluation. Rachel has worked in injury prevention in Western Australia for over 8 years and has experience working for not-for-profit and governments locally and internationally. Rachel’s key interests are in improving injury outcomes among Aboriginal and rural populations, evaluation and falls prevention.
